Amanda Elzy High School’s William Stewart gets off a shot under pressure from an Indianola Gentry defender during Tuesday night’s game at Elzy. The Panthers put up a good fight before falling 67-54 to drop to 5-6 on the season. Both the Elzy boys and girls play today in the Robert Coleman/Leflore County High School Tournament in Itta Bena. The Lady Panthers face Greenwood at 4 p.m., followed by the boys game at 5:30. Elzy, GHS, Leflore and West Tallahatchie are taking part in the three-day tournament.
