She was a retired elementary school assistant librarian in the Warren County Public School District.

MVSU baseball gets win over DI foe

The Mississippi Valley State University baseball team achieved a milestone Sunday by defeating Tennessee-Martin 5-3 for its first non-SWAC win over a Division I opponent since 2017.
The last win over a non-SWAC team in Division I baseball was a 10-9 victory over Arkansas State in 2017.
