Pillow Academy took care of business at home Tuesday with a sweep of Manchester and will try to keep that momentum going at home tonight against Bayou Academy.
The Lady Mustangs moved to 11-0 on the season with a 57-36 victory on Tuesday as senior Catherine Grace Lary had a big-time performance. She finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
Senior Jane Rob Pannell added 12 points and 12 boards.
The PA boys notched their second straight win with a 63-53 decision over Central Holmes to climb to 3-6 on the year.
Junior Shane Houston Stephens pumped in a game-high 27 points for the Mustangs, while Lawes McCool was next with 12. Breck Bolin chipped in with 10 points.
In junior high action, the Pillow girls improved to 9-0 with a 39-13 rout of Manchester. Madeline Mattox and Karle Aldridge had 10 points each.
