Overtime approved to move classrooms so HVAC can be upgraded

Classrooms in Greenwood High School and Leflore County High School will be relocated so that improvements to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems can be made.
Greenwood High classrooms will be moving to Greenwood Middle School, and Leflore County High classrooms will be relocated to Leflore County Elementary.

Milwaukee Tool moving part of operation

Milwaukee Tool is relocating its hole saw manufacturing operations, currently based in Greenwood, to its facility in Grenada, which opened in October.
Employees at the Greenwood facility have been notified, and the move will happen throughout the year, the company said in an email to the Commonwealth.
