Weed killers can be a very effective tool if used correctly and in a timely manner, says Chris McCurdy, who is in his 16th year in the weed control business.
“If you apply pre-emergent herbicides correctly and in a timely manner, it will prevent a lot of weeds from coming up in a lawn or bed,” said McCurdy of MTL Services.

Progress made on completing needed audits

Progress has been made on completing audits necessary for the Greenwood Leflore Consolidated School District to move forward in building a new high school.
Barry McKenzie, who owns McKenzie CPA, PLLC of Brandon, has provided the district’s 2022 audits, attorney Tray Hairston said at the school board’s work session Thursday.
