Leonard McKinnon and Bruce Hill were hard at work Friday trimming the roadsides along U.S. 82 in Greenwood in a city-led effort to beautify its entrances.
“Man, it sure is hot,” said Hill, an employee of Kelvin Matthews, a private contractor hired for the project, as he worked in temperatures near 100 degrees.
