Elizabeth “Pann” Powers was a human dynamo who devoted her life to helping others.
“She had an amazing life. She was involved in everything from the Mississippi Federation of Women’s Clubs to the founding of Mississippi Public Broadcasting,” said friend Freda Maxey, the outgoing executive director of the United Way of Leflore County.
