County anticipating 5 percent increase in property tax revenue

Leflore County is budgeting for almost 5 percent more in property tax revenue next year for school and general county operations.

Chancery Clerk Sam Abraham has zeroed in on an approximate figure for the county's new property tax rate, he told the county's Board of Supervisors on Monday.
