Anna Hammond has taken on dual responsibilities as Mississippi Valley State’s senior vice president for academic affairs and provost.
Hammond, formerly the chief of staff at the university, replaced Joseph Martin Stevenson as provost. With the promotion, her salary was raised from $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
