An Itta Bena woman has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault after four people accused her of bumping into them with her car.
Brandesha Brunte Shanell Seals, 18, is being held for a $10,000 bond on each of the two counts.
Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell said the initial call concerned a fight in the Walmart parking lot. The chief said the fight ended with Seals pinning the women with her Ford Mustang.
“There was at least 10 ladies that one of the ladies claimed were going to jump another lady,” Purnell said.
The women were taken to the hospital, treated for injuries and released. Afterward, they came to the police station to file charges against Seals and another person.
According to an incident report from the police, four women claimed they had been hit with the vehicle — one in the left leg, another in the knees while holding her child, one in the stomach and another in the thigh.
“None of them had any serious injuries,” Purnell said.
According to the incident report, Seals said she had come to Walmart from McDonald’s.
She told police that one of the alleged victims began following her around as she drove by

She said a male yelled out, “I thought y’all were going to fight.”
Purnell said police were still investigating.
