Along the banks of the Yazoo River, the smell of slow-cooked meats drew in hungry barbecue fans Saturday.
Farther down Main Street, dog lovers paraded their pets, families browsed at roadside craft shops and kids got all sticky eating funnel cakes.
It was a perfect day for being outside.
