Troy Brown is taking another crack at Willie Perkins.
Brown qualified Tuesday to run as an independent against Perkins, the Democratic incumbent, for Mississippi House District 32.
Perkins soundly defeated Brown for the same position in 2007 with 65 percent of the vote.
