Workers for Mitchell Signs of Meridian — Gary Alexander in the bucket truck, and Matthew Lenning — get ready Tuesday to haul off the sign at the intersection of U.S. 82 and Sycamore Avenue that points to the Greenwood-Leflore Industrial Park. Over the next 60 days, a new elevated sign, mounted on a brick base and illuminated internally, will be installed at that spot, said Thomas Gregory, executive director of the Greenwood-Leflore-Carroll Industrial Foundation.
