North Central Area Agency on Aging held an “Over 60 Celebration” Tuesday at the Andrew McQueen Jr. Civic Center. The event celebrated senior citizens from Leflore County and surrounding areas during May, which is Older Americans Month. Two seniors from Leflore County, Brenda Smith, 60, right, and Verbain Foreman Sr., 78, sat next to each other at the event.
