Leflore County’s death count from COVID-19 is more than halfway to the century mark.
On Saturday, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported that two more long-term care facility residents — one Black, one white — have died from the respiratory disease. That brings the total number of fatalities to 51 in Leflore County.
