Three more deaths have been added to Leflore County’s COVID-19 fatality toll, pushing the total to 65.
The three deaths, which were reported Sunday and Monday by the Mississippi State Department of Health, occurred between July 4 and Aug. 2 and were later attributed to the new coronavirus by coroner death certificates.
