Emmett Chassaniol Jr. is remembered by his wife for his commitment to the cotton business and commitment to others.
“We were so astounded at the number of people who came to the visitation,” said Mr. Chassaniol’s wife, state Sen. Lydia Chassaniol. “Emmett would have loved to have talked to everybody. He hated to miss a good party.”
