Karyn Burrus will remain the manager of The Carl Center, as the Greenwood City Council has overridden Mayor Kenderick Cox’s veto of her contract.
The council voted 5-1 Tuesday to override the veto, with Ward 6’s Dorothy Glenn dissenting. Ward 7’s Carl Palmer was absent from the meeting.
