Police investigate shots fired into air

By the Bridge Bistro co-owner Caleb Cox was doing some last-minute work before closing his restaurant when he heard gunfire outside just before 6 p.m. Thursday.
“Basically, they shot up in the air. There were two shots that landed on the roof, but that was it,” Cox said.

Greenwood to take part in multi-city food drive

Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams is excited for the city to take part in another Extra Table March of the Mayors Delta Food Drive, which begins Friday.
Greenwood residents are asked to donate canned fruit goods at designated locales in the city, including City Hall, the police station and the fire station.

Judge: No probable cause for murder charge
