As I sat at my desk on Thanksgiving morning composing this episode of “Our Cosmic Neighborhood,” I thought back to consider how fortunate I’ve been. Ever since my eighth grade science teacher showed me Saturn and its rings back in 1953, a blessing in my life has been the opportunity to learn and share my passion for astronomy.
