Pillow Academy heads to the state capital to face Jackson Academy on Friday, coming off a 35-6 road loss to Magnolia Heights last week, a defeat that head coach Jim Crowder said was partly on him.
“We didn’t play well. It’s my responsibility to get them ready to play, and I didn’t do a good enough job with that,” Crowder said.
