Bobby Carnage, who is retired from the Army, Army Reserves and Army National Guard, has been playing chess since a close friend taught him the game in 1988. He has now started a chess club in the Mississippi Delta because he said he saw a gap in the market. The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at either the Greenwood- Leflore Public Library or the Itta Bena library, though meetings are currently stalled due to a lack of attendees.
