Compromise on banners rejected

The Black History Month banners controversy has reached an impasse and apparent conclusion.
Brandice Brown-Williams has rejected a compromise offer from Mayor Carolyn McAdams to hang a limited number of Black History Month banners sold by the Greenwood schoolteacher — no more than 25 — on city poles and fixtures.
