After 16 years, McAdams says farewell to mayor’s office

Downtown business burglarized

Jessica Pickens received texts Saturday morning with news that every business owner fears.
Fincher’s Inc. had been burglarized.
Pickens said she arrived at the store around 7:30 a.m. that morning and found police were already on the scene. Her husband, Christopher, was already going through the store’s security footage.

The Rev. Glenn Seefeld “was a pure gentleman and a pure Christian,” remembers his friend Johnny Favara.
The Rev. Seefeld, a retired pastor of First United Methodist Church and Vietnam veteran, died Friday morning. He was 81.
