Greenwood has a new city clerk.
The Greenwood City Council voted 6-1 Tuesday afternoon to approve Mayor Kenderick Cox’s recommendation of Carla Williams to the position. Ward 2’s Lisa Cookston cast the lone dissenting vote.
The current acting city clerk, Linda Osbourne, is on medical leave and is transitioning out of the role.
