INDIANOLA — Delta Streets Academy struggled through some growing pains in the team’s second 11-man football game in program history.
On the road facing Class 4A Indianola Academy, the Class 3A Lions allowed 20 first-quarter points en route to a 48-7 loss on Friday night.

Prep football: Pillow faces tough test at Hartfield

TCHULA -- The good news is that there's nowhere to go but up for Greenwood High.

The bad news is that the Bulldogs suffered a 47-0 blowout loss Saturday to Holmes County Central — their worst defeat since 2006 — in their first football game in nearly two years.
