For the past two years, the Greenwood Mentoring Group’s Jessie B. Henderson-Inez Beck Learning Center on Avenue G has been reaching children and opening young minds.
Its work requires a great deal of help from volunteers and financial support from the community, said Bill Clay, the group’s founder.
