Greenwood’s nature trail, just blocks from the Leflore County Courthouse, is finally taking shape. The trail, which will be open to walkers, joggers and cyclists, involved an $89,000 grant from the state Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks. Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams says the trail should be open to the public in about a month.
