In response to calls for a traffic light at Elzy Road and Humphrey Highway, the Mississippi Department of Transportation was scheduled to begin counting traffic there today, says state Sen. David Jordan, D-Greenwood.
The traffic count is the first step in the process of getting a signal, Jordan said.
