United Way of Leflore County is only $3,600 away from reaching its fundraising goal of $212,000.
Freda Maxey, executive director of the chapter, said it is hoped that tonight’s annual meeting of the Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce will put the group over the top.
