Solomon Brown is getting ready to represent the state of Mississippi at the 77th annual American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program in Indianapolis this weekend.
“I feel extremely excited. ... I get to represent the young folks of Greenwood, Mississippi,” said Solomon, a 10th-grader at Pillow Academy.
