Heavy thunderstorms and the possibility of large hail are in the forecast for Leflore County tonight and into Friday.
“There’s a potential from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for golf-ball-sized hail, and 60- to 75-mile-per-hour winds and locally heavy rains,” said Mark McAllister, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Jackson.
