Greenwood Fire Chief Marcus Banks is scheduled to receive his master’s degree in public policy and planning from Mississippi Valley State University on Saturday — but he won’t be at the ceremony.
Instead, he will be attending the graduation of his daughter, Tayla Banks, at Xavier University in New Orleans.
