The Mississippi Court of Appeals has reversed a 2004 embezzlement conviction of W. A. Coleman of Itta Bena, saying the state didn't prove its case.
The court handed down the decision Tuesday. It split, 6-4, with Justices T. Kenneth Griffis, William H. Myers, L. Joseph Lee and David A. Chandler dissenting.
