U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Bolton, has given his endorsement to David Jordan in his bid for city councilman of Ward 6.
"In David Jordan, you have a spiritual and political leader," Thompson told a group of about 120 people attending a rally Wednesday night for the City Council president.
