At some point Saturday evening, I'll slip into a midnight mass somewhere, if not my own church. The Christmas Eve mass has been a favorite for a long time.
Although my children won't arrive for a visit until after Christmas Day, I know one is in Jackson with his wife's family, likely attending services at St. James Episcopal Church.
