Mary Ann Shaw's first attempt at fund raising was a simple Coca-Cola stand built by her father when she was a child.
It wasn't that successful, because she claims they drank up all their profits.
The stand was strategically placed between two sweetgum trees in the front yard of their house on Crockett Avenue.
