No one from the public came to a hearing Thursday on the proposed budget for the Leflore County School District, which would include an increase in the tax rate.
The district now operates with projected revenue of slightly over $23 million. Of that, about $3.12 million, or 13.1 percent, comes from ad valorem taxes.
