Former University of Mississippi broadcaster Stan Torgerson took great interest in the student-athletes and loved the school, one former colleague remembered Tuesday.
Bobo Champion, a former Ole Miss sports information director, has fond memories of Torgerson, who died Monday of complications from pneumonia.
