A districtwide lockdown disturbed the peace of the Leflore County School District on Tuesday.
According to Interim Superintendent James Johnson-Waldington, the security measure, which lasted for a couple of hours, was triggered at all the district’s schools following an unspecified threat received at the central administrative office.
