Slaying of student investigated

No arrests have been made in the early Monday morning slaying of a 19-year-old high school senior.

Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks said this morning that his detectives are interviewing witnesses and investigating the scene where Jakairius Thomas was found shot to death in his bed.
