Three years after a train derailed, dumping 17,000 gallons of toxic oil onto their land, Melton Properties LLC of Greenwood, its principals and other interested parties have filed a complaint in federal court against Illinois Central Railroad, its owner, Canadian National Railway, and Union Tank Car Co., seeking damages and relief.
