The Leflore County School District will be requesting an increase of almost 3.4 percent in local property-tax revenue for the next fiscal year.
The increase would total almost $186,000 in an overall budget that’s projected to be nearly $1 million less, falling from the current year’s $26.86 million to $25.9 million next year.
