Women young, older and in between packed the Sutton Administration Building auditorium Thursday night at Mississippi Valley State University to hear Christy Pickering’s story of her 21-year secret struggle with domestic violence.
Smart, sharp and professionally dressed, Pickering faced the crowd with a shimmering smile.
