On Wednesday, a shiny silver chartered bus glided through the narrow highways and tall fields of the Delta from Greenwood to Glendora, Jonestown and Marks and then back.
Aboard were a small army of journalists armed with cameras, recorders and note pads, and some luminaries in the state’s history of race relations and poverty.
