Nancy New, founder of New Summit and North New Summit Schools, right, and her son, Zach, have been accused of defrauding the state out of more than $2 million in public school dollars and also face state charges alleging they embezzled more than $4 million in welfare dollars through their nonprofit Mississippi Community Education Center.
