New Year’s Eve, a time usually associated with drinking and debauchery, was a quiet night in Greenwood, says Deputy Police Chief Johnny Langdon.
No shooting was reported, and there weren’t as many arrests as in other years, he said.
“We didn’t have a lot of people out there,” he said. “It may have been because of the weather.”
