Southern winds colliding with a cold front from the north caused wind and hail this weekend and led to outages across Leflore County.
Leflore County Emergency Management Director T.W. Cooper said that Itta Bena experienced some outages Saturday after quarter size hail bombarded parts of the area and strong winds swept power lines.
