Bubba is rising political star

JACKSON - It doesn't hurt to be known as "Bubba" to get elected to the Legislature from Greene County, one of the poorest, most rural, white-majority counties in the state.

For that matter, it wouldn't hurt to be nicknamed Bubba to get elected to office statewide.
