JACKSON - Could it be that our own Trent Lott, no longer Senate majority leader, is challenging John McCain for the job of maverick-in-chief of the Republican Party?
Certainly when Lott last week chimed in that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld should go, Trent's remarks echoed rather loudly in the growing demand for Rummy's head.
